Commission Process

Once pricing and project details have been confirmed, the commission process will begin.

For custom creative pieces, a non-refundable $50 sketch deposit is required to begin the initial concept sketch. After the sketch is completed, it will be sent for review and approval. Revisions can be made during this stage to ensure the concept aligns with your vision before moving forward.

Once the sketch is approved, a 50% upfront payment of the remaining commission total is required before work begins. Midway through the process, a progress update photo will be provided via email.

When the final piece is completed, a preview image will be sent for approval. Once the remaining balance has been received, the artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped.

Timeline

  • Sketch phase: begins after the sketch deposit is received

  • Custom paintings: approximately 3 weeks after sketch approval

  • Shipping: estimated 1–2 weeks, depending on location

Additional Information

  • All canvases are sold unframed unless otherwise specified.

  • Framing options are available at an additional cost.

  • Each painting is finished with a satin varnish using Gamblin Gamvar.

The varnish serves both protective and aesthetic purposes by:

  • Protecting against UV exposure and yellowing

  • Preventing dust and dirt buildup

  • Evening out matte or “sunken” darker areas

  • Enhancing the overall finished appearance of the artwork

Refund/Cancellation Policy
 All artwork purchased is non-refundable.
Shipping Policy
Damaged or lost items can be addressed to Hui Ying. Please include your order number and a photo of the damage, or proof that you have tried to contact the shipping company to retrieve a lost package.
